Boxing Day Dip
On Saturday, 26th December we will be holding our
annual BoxingDay Dip, which allows peoplewho are as
mad as a hatter (oops we mean brave and committed!)
to dip into the sea for their favourite charity – us!
While many are recovering from a day of over-
indulgence, why don’t you shake off the Christmas
cobwebs and be part of this brrr-illiant event?
St. Clare’s Hospice wants to make this year’s Boxing
Day Dip the biggest yet! The event is open to anyone
aged 8 plus, so you can encourage your children to
be just as ‘cool’ as you! Participants are encouraged
to wear fancy dress but it is not compulsory. However, there are trophies for the best team and best individual for their
efforts. You don’t need to spend lots of money on an outfit, use your imagination; it’s all in the fun!!
All you have to do is complete a registration form and return it with your £5 registration fee as soon as possible. To register

Once we receive your registration form, sponsor forms will be sent out to enable you to start fundraising right away!
Jolly Jumper Day!
Friday 9th December 2016
Get into the festive spirit this
December by wearing your best
(or worst!) Christmas jumpers to
support your local Hospice.
Simply donate £1 each and
every single pound raised will
go towards patient care at St.
Clare’s.
Last year the campaign was
a huge success and we
had plenty of people getting
involved including workplaces,
community groups and schools
We are hoping this year to encourage even more people to wear their jolliest
jumpers! Wherever you wear your jumper, know that you will be raising funds to
help someone in need near you!
How to get involved
First decide when and where to wear your jolly jumpers, if the 9th December
isn’t suitable just pick another day that suits you! Then simply register online

registration form.
We will send you everything you need to make your day as jolly as possible such as
badges, colouring sheets for schools, sweepstakes, posters to advertise your day
and shout outs on social media!
Sign and Share
Our Sign & Share campaign is easy to take
part in for any businesses and groups.
The idea is simple, you and your colleagues/
friends pledge NOT to send each other
Christmas cards, instead you write your
Christmas message on our Sign & Share
poster. You then donate the money you
would have spent sending individual cards
to St. Clare’s Hospice!
The Sign & Share poster can then be
displayed for all to see and saves you writing
out lots of cards.
If you are a taxpayer and complete the Sign
& Share donation form included in your
pack, we can even claim Gift Aid on your
donation which adds an additional 25p for
every £1 you donate from HMRC.
The environment benefits from less
Christmas cards being disposed of, the
Hospice benefits from your donations and
you all have fun signing our special poster
instead!
