Volunteering – WE NEED YOU!
Help your local Hospice raise more funds and awareness by becoming a volunteer.
Volunteering has lots of benefits, including:
working as part of the Hospice team
contributing to providing a large part of the Hospice funding that enables us to provide our services to
patients for free
learning new skills, using existing talents and increasing your confidence
gaining valuable work experience you can use if you’re considering a career change or looking for
paid work in a similar field
giving something back to your local community
doing something valuable and rewarding with your free time
meeting new people and getting involved in our regular social and fundraising events
Before you can start volunteering, St. Clare’s will want to:
meet you to find out about your interests and skills
match your skills and interests with suitable roles
offer you an appropriate induction or training
