Rainbow Run
Sunday 7th June
We are very excited to announce that this year our Rainbow
Run will be bigger, brighter and better than ever! Feedback
from last year’s Rainbow Run, told us that you wanted a
longer run so we are providing just that! This year runners can
choose to run either 1k or 5k. We are also lowering the age
limit to 6 as we know how much children love to get messy.
This untimed family fun run is bursting withmusic and colour,
and will be a great day out for all. Taking place at Monkton
Stadium in Jarrow, participants will start the run clean as a
whistle and then be showered from head to toe with vibrant
powdered paint as they run the 5k route. The end result is
a spectacular sight!
This spectacular event will help to raise money for patient
care at the hospice and is accessible to everyone - men,
women and children from age six years old.
We also need volunteers to help us with registration and
throw powder. Please let us know if you can help.
Make a Will
Month

this June.
At just £60 for a single Will and
£85 for a joint Will not only will
you ensure that your wishes are
carried out, but the payment
you make will be donated to St.
Clare’s Hospice. The solicitors
taking part in our Make a Will
Month campaign are giving
their time free of charge.

Tea at 3
(and of course cakes)
Friday 3rd July
Tea at 3 is a new fun and
easy way to support St.
Clare’s Hospice. Just invite
a group of friends, family
or colleagues to join you
for a cuppa, ask them for
a donation and raise vital
funds to support our work
in the local communities.
Our suggested date is Friday 3rd July but you can pick any date in July
along with a place and time that suits you. You don’t have to stop at tea!
You could serve whatever drinks you like, make and sell cakes, hold a raffle
or organise some games. Whatever you do the money you raise will help us
provide vital Hospice care to local families.
