Trustees statement
The accounts included in this report are not the full statutory
accounts of St. Clares Hospice but rather a summary of
information relating to both the full Statement of Financial
Activities and the Balance Sheet. These may be found in the
full Annual Financial Statements which are available on request
from the St. Clare’s Hospice office.
The full annual accounts were approved by the trustees on
Wednesday, 3rd June 2015 and have been audited by St. Clares
Hospice independent auditors, Quantum Accountancy Services
Ltd, who have produced an unqualified report. In accordance
with our charitable obligations, the Annual Report and accounts
will be submitted to the Charity Commission in due course.

Summarised financial statements
We have examined the summarised financial statements of St.
Clares Hospice for the year ended 31st March 2015 set out
on page 16.
Respective responsibilities of the trustees and the auditor
The trustees are responsible for preparing the summarised
financial statements in accordance with applicable United
Kingdom law and the recommendations of the charities SORP.
Our responsibility is to report to you our opinion on the
consistency of the summarised financial statements within the
Annual Review with the full annual financial statements and the
Trustees’ Annual Report. We also read the other information
contained in the summarised Annual Review and consider the
implications for our report if we become aware if any apparent
misstatements or material inconsistencies with the summarised
financial statements. The other information comprises only the
Annual Review.
We conducted our work in accordance with Bulletin 2008/3
issued by the Auditing Practices Board.
Opinion
In our opinion the summarised financial statements are consistent
with the full annual financial statements and the Trustees’ Annual
Report of St. Clares Hospice for the year ended 31st March 2015.
